I chose the brief - I. My milk packaging is targeted at groups of children, aged 7 to 12 years. For this group, I did some search about recent milk packaging design that exist in the market. Eventually, I came out this shape of milk packaging. From the research, I found the child's hands more used to hold the round things, but square things for their hands to grip is not easy. If the milk container is big and square that could led to milk spilled on the ground. This would be a headache for many mother. How can we make these children more convenient to drink milk? I have a aunt, she has a child, she said her children often do not pay attention because when her child open milk bottles, her child use too much force to open the bottle, causing milk spilled on the floor. For children, they need more strength to open the bottle than adult do. So, I came out this kind of lid, because it is easy to open, all you need to do is using your finger to open this cover, then pour the milk into the bottle. The size I designed is according to child’s average size, to reduce the risk they spill milk. Also, they can grasp the milk bottle easily and pour milk slowly so they control the speed they pour the milk. By considering the problem above, I found a solution, So I designed this by reducing the thickness and changing the shape of the my product. This is my final design of this milk packaging.
